Layer 2 vs Layer 1: what’s the difference and why does it matter? 🤔

Hey guys, do you know what Layer 2 and Layer 1 mean in crypto? If not, don’t worry, I got you covered. Layer 2 and Layer 1 are different ways to make blockchain networks faster, cheaper, and better. Layer 1 is the base layer, where transactions are recorded and verified by nodes. Layer 2 is the second layer, where transactions are processed off-chain using smart tricks like sidechains, rollups, etc.

Why should you care? Because BNB Chain, the multi-chain platform that powers the world’s virtual ecosystem, might launch Layer 2 today! That would be awesome, because Layer 2 would make BNB Chain even more scalable and user-friendly than before. It would also make BNB Chain stand out from other blockchains that are slow and expensive.

What do you think? Do you get the difference between Layer 2 and Layer 1? Do you think Layer 2 is coming to BNB Chain? If so, when and how? If not, why not? Drop your comments below!#BNB #BNBChain #Binance #Crypto #Layer2 #Layer1
